Ready, ready, ready.

I went to Flyball training as usual today. I get quite excited when the other dogs are ready to run.



And I always want to join in.



Its much better having a go than watching.

But sometimes I cannot resist a good chew



Flyball training tomorrow so lots of tennis balls to bring back then.

Wordless Restful Wednesday

Maidstone 2

This is another video of the Flyball races from the tournament on Sunday at Maidstone in Kent. This shows all our clubs teams racing.

Chip is in the 2nd & 3rd clips, Auntie Breeze in the 4th clip and Dare the last one.



Dares team actually won that last race as although he ran out and had to run again he still got back before the other team finished.



Well done Dare.

Maidstone Flyball

We all had a great time at the flyball tournament on Sunday. Our Club ran 5 teams and Auntie Breeze, Chip and Dare all competed in different teams. Chip raced with Grease Lightning, Auntie Breeze with Lightning bolts and Dare with Lightning Storm.

This is one of Auntie Breezes teams races, they won their Division not losing any legs all day.



This is one of Dares teams races and they came 3rd. Dare had never managed to race against another team so everyone was very pleased with him (he is the last dog in the clip)



I got loads of walks between the races and met some interesting new dogs.



Also after the tournament Auntie Breeze was presented with her Flyball Dog Advanced title certificate for getting 5,000 points.



It has taken her two years and load and loads of races.

Flash Friday

Its been a bit wet this week so only road walks. Hopefully we will get a nice run out the park tomorrow.

This is is me waiting anxiously for my favourite snack, apple core. You have to have the pips taken out apparently but apple cores are nice and tasty.



There is a flyball tournament on Sunday that the others are all competing in (I am to young yet) so that should be exciting to watch.

Top dogs

In the British Flyball Association's breed Analysis for 2009 certain dogs we know did quite well.

Chip who only started competing in May 2009 was the 2nd placed Patterdale Terrier in whole of the UK in 2009.



Kaiza who also races with our Club Lightning Strikes was the No 1 placed Rottweiler in 2009 and is currently the all time 2nd placed Rottweiler in the UK.



And of course Adam, my Dad, is the No 1 placed English Shepherd in the UK. This is him racing at the British Championships in the Summer for his Flyball Club the Crazy Cannons.



And this is me with my Dad Adam when we met at the British Championships in August 2009.



I might have grown a little bit since then.

Puppy avalanche

Holly's Dad kindly sent these pictures of me and my Brothers and Sisters all together when we were little puppies.

Go way back Challenge

On Doreen's blog (which we follow) she has set a 'Go Waaay Back' challenge where you find a picture of yourself when you were very young and post it on your own blog.

I don't go back very far, only being one and a bit years old. However Auntie Breeze is the oldest of the four of us and as she wasn't on the last post here are some pictures of her as a puppy.

This is her when she was very little and still with her mum.



This is her when she was a little bit bigger and living in our house.



And this is her all grown up with me.



Wasn't she a cute puppy.

Wordless Breezeless Wednesday

Melting

The snows starting to melt here so unless it snows again it will be slushy soon.



Chips seems to be thinking of food, maybe the snow makes him fell hungry.



Or it could be all that running about. After his film on Sunday this is the sequel Chip in the Snow 2...



I am not sure if Auntie Breeze wants to chase after the tennis ball or herd Chip!

Out again

Snow still here but no fresh falls overnight. Not sure if its going away or we will get anymore over the next couple of days.

Dare blends in quite well with the snowy landscape.



But he has no problem Collie eyeing the tennis ball in the snow.



Auntie Breeze just seems to ignore the wind.



And Chip has his coat so he does not care.



In fact he loves running in the snow.

Snow, snow, snow

Like the rest of the UK we are under a blanket of snow and have freezing temperatures at the moment. Its not as bad here in West London as other parts of the country but its not going away yet.



Good fun having a tennis ball thrown for you in the snow.



Its around here somewhere !

Chilly again

Its got really, really chilly again. Lots of snow and ice everywhere across the whole country! Apparently its the coldest its been in the UK for years.



These pictures were taken in the garden tonight will try and get the boss to take some better daylight ones tomorrow.



I think Chip is trying to see where all the snow is coming from in this picture.
