Guess who

We have had some lovely walks this week in the usual places.

My favourite place at the moment is this massive park which is just down the road from where we live.

When the boss throws the ball I can run really fast with absolutely no chance of running in to anybody or anything.

That's a point who has actually got my tennis ball? I am sure it was here a moment ago.

I should has guessed Auntie Breeze has it ....

Odd washing

I went out into the garden today and found this very strange site on the lawn and hanging the washing line.

Apparently our tent was being aired before storage for the winter. It looks much better packed away now its completely dry.

Obviously I helped the boss pack it all away so this is my 'where is the treat' serious look.

Walk

We went to flyball training today as we did not have a tournament. In fact our next one is not at least until the end of November.

So its flyball and obedience training until then and lots of nice walks.

Are you going to take photos all day or can we get on with this walk?

Autumn

Its been getting quite chilly this week, I think Autumn is finally on the way. Mind you having just blown my coat is bad timing!

We must make the most of the flowers in the garden whilst we still have them.

They still smell quite nice.

My Sister Abbie

We have just been sent some recent pictures of my sister Abbie. As you can see she has the same smile as me (must run in the family)

She obviously likes a drink.

Well a quick one...

And she has a really cool looking bed.

What a lucky girl

Indoors on 10:10:10

Today we went to the first indoor flyball tournament of the winter season in Maidstone, Kent. As last week was very wet and windy when we were racing outside, this week it was dry and sunny as we were racing indoors...

My team Lightning Flash were in Division 3 and we came 2nd with Dares team Lightning Storm in the same Division coming 3rd. Auntie Breezes team came 3rd in Division 5.

But the Star of the family was Chip who's team Grease Lightning were running in Division 1 . They came 4th and even beat Lightning Strikes in one leg of the Derby race.

This is Chip getting ready to race.

And actually racing, unfortunately, the pictures did not come out very well in the indoor light.

Pat on the head

The racing points have just come up on the British Flyball Association website for June. I have now earned my next flyball title, Flyball Dog Intermediate.

I think that's a big pat on the head for me.

Knocking your socks off

Chips been trying on some new items of apparel, socks.

Yes I also did not realise you could get these for dogs. Not sure they have any practical use.

Apart from making Chip look very embarrassed...

Wet Windy Weekend

We all went to the last outdoor flyball tournament of the season this weekend. Whilst the racing was great the weather was not!

We arrived at the tournaments campsite on Friday evening and because of the traffic jams it was starting to get quite dark. The wind was strong and the rain heavy, not a good start to the weekend.

But Capstone Country Park in Kent where the tournament was held is lovely and surrounded by woods that you can walk through.

We all had a very successful tournament. Chip and Auntie Breeze raced on Saturday and their teams both won their divisions. Chips team actually won Division two which is very impressive.

Me and Dare both ran today in different teams but they were in same division. The weather had not improved, in fact after our division finished they abandoned the racing as it was very wet and so windy it kept blowing over all the jumps.

Dares team got fourth place but my team got yet another first place so we all had a great weekends racing despite the weather. No pictures of me racing but this is Chip flying over the wet grass.
