Paying attention

The weather here was sunny but a bit chilly today.

This picture is Auntie Breeze, Chip and me all paying attention in the garden (Actually we were having a tennis ball waved at us to get our attention, but it did the trick...)

Chip the Patterdale Terrier

This post is about Chip who is a Patterdale Terrier and lives with us.

Chip was found abandoned in a field when just a little puppy and only a few days old. He is now about 17 months.

He is a very small dog, as you can see from these pictures of him training at flyball.

Despite Chips very small size he is somehow able to do single stride jumps when racing at flyball which shouldn't really be possible when you see how tiny he is.

When Chip starts to compete at flyball, when he is old enough to do real competitions, he will be a height dog because of his small height.

Chip is always very happy and wags his tail all the time. He is very friendly to all other dogs and people.

Chip is a real 'happy go lucky' dog.

The only time he ever moans at me is when I go to 'try' and take a bone or chewie off him!

Dinner time

We all went flyball training today and I watched again. Afterwards I got quite hungry from all the barking.

This is me eating my dinner when we got back home.

I eat fast so I can get to the others before they finish theirs. My mum says I will get indigestion. Is this a different type of dog food that the others get?

Tired again

The weather was bad today as expected. sunny one minute then raining heavily the next.

Had a nice walk on the path on lead and tried to be good, most of the time. This is a picture of me and Chip having a small nap afterwards.

My 'can I have' look

This is a picture of me practicing my 'can I have' look.

I think I will try this look when I want to go out for a walk or have a nice extra treat.

The weather was not as nice today we had a bit of rain, according to the forecast it is going to be heavy rain tomorrow. I hope I still get a nice walk , I will have to practice this look some more.

A sunny Spring walk

We all went out again today for another nice walk in the Park and it was a lovely Spring sunny day. The first picture is me and Auntie Breeze.

The second picture is all of us. Dare has the tennis ball which is unusual as Auntie Breeze normally has it. She is quite an expert at getting it before anyone else when its thrown.

Flyball in Maidstone

We went to a flyball tournament again today in Maidstone, Kent.

I watched the racing and I had a good bark with all the other dogs it was lovely and noisy as the tournament was held inside a big hall.

These are a couple of pictures of me outside socialising, the other dog is Archie who is a week younger than me. I also met some Australian Kelpie puppies and lots of other dogs .

Chip & flyball

There was a flyball demonstration today at a nearby school and Chip took part in it. It was the first time he has done this and apparently he did very well.

The first picture is Chip waiting to do his flyball races and the second is him exhausted in the car afterwards.

Bit of a cheek

I think its a bit of a cheek, Auntie Breeze, Dare and Chip went to Agility tonight and I stayed at home with Mum. OK I went to obedience classes with Auntie Breeze last night but I think I should have gone along tonight as well !

Tired out

I have been busy again so far this week, lots of walks and investigating in the garden.

Just got back from a big walk in the Park with the others and I am quite tired out from all the running about, as you can see.

Sunny Sunday

It was a very warm sunny spring day here today in west London.

So when it got a little bit cooler in the afternoon me, Auntie Breeze, Dare and Chip all went over to a country park that I have not been to before to have a run about chasing a tennis ball and checking out all the interesting new things.


There were a few other dogs and lots of people out for a walk in the sun as well but it was such a big country park we didn't really bump into them.
