Auntie Breeze

As this blog is normally about me I thought it might be of interest to do some posts about the rest of the dogs that live with me.

I will start with Auntie Breeze who is the oldest of us. This is her when only a few weeks old.

Auntie Breeze is a Black and White Border Collie. Her full pedigree name is Foxbarton Pop My Cork and she was born on the 10th of April 1996. She was born 1/2 the size of her litter mates, this is a picture of them all as puppies.

Auntie Breeze is still very small for Border Collie but this hasn't stopped her at all. She has gained her Bronze, Silver and Gold Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards and also had a dabble at Dog Agility as well . But this is a picture with one of her Brothers Ky to give you a better idea of how very little she is for a Border Collie.

Auntie Breezes first love however is Flyball which she really enjoys. She has gained enough points in competitions to be awarded her FDG (Flyball Dog Advanced) title and should get her Silver Milestone award when the points are updated by the British Flyball Association.

This is is a picture of her in full flight at a sunny Flyball Competition.

Why 'Auntie' Breeze you ask. Well she is the oldest and she likes to be in charge. She can be very bossy and she likes things done her way so Auntie Breeze has stuck.

Wow, she is small! Oh well, sometimes the best things come in small packages! I loved seeing all the cute puppy pictures.

Wow! Auntie Breeze is small but like we have heard - great things come in small packages (Oops - I didn't read the previous comment until ours was pretty much typed but sounds like we are on the same page) Great minds and all....
Hope Elyse & Riley don't mind

She is so beautiful! I have been a Rescue dog owner for so many years. One of our babies was a Border Collie mix. Truly the best dog we ever had (shh! don't tell the gang at home!) She "looked" after my daughters while they were small and stayed with them & tolerated them so well. They loved her so. Other than the time she ate an entire small couch, she never got into trouble (the couch incident I think she did she get the Hubby to love her as he HATED that furniture!)
Thanks for sharing!

She really is small. But that hasn't slowed her down a bit. She has so many great wins on her list. How did you end up with the smallest of the pups? Just curious.

It is nice to hear about the other members of the family. You really do have a great family. Our Brandy was also very small and she still looks like a little puppy because of her size. (I don't think they like to be called the runt of the litter.)Soemtimes the smallest is the mightiest.

Ryker, the boss had the pick of the litter but as Breeze was not picked up on the vets scan and unexpected they went for her.

Yes Ludo she is a very similar size to some Shelties.

Auntie Breeze doesn't have a Napolean complex does she? She sure was a cute baby.
