A little nap

We are all still recovering from the weekends flyball exertions. Its really quite tiring running all those races so I think its important to recover properly. Lots of food is great to get all that energy back and also some good rest.

Its also important to find some out of the way comfortable place to get those extra minutes of shuteye without interruption.

I think this good one of mine may have just been discovered...

1st Place

We were off to a Flyball tournament today. It was another indoor one this time hosted by my own Club. It was held in the new Leatherhead Leisure Centre in Surrey.

Inside this bit at the back of the centre which was used just for our flyball tournament today.

All of my pack ran , Dares team ran in Division 5 and they got a second place, Dare also got his FDI (Flyball Dog Intermediate) certificate today. Auntie Breeze's team ran in Division 4 and they got a 4th place.

My team Lightning Bolt and Chips team Grease Lightning both ran in Division 2 and we both needed the last race of the Division, which was against each other, to get 1st place and my team won it!

This is me racing today bringing the ball back in one of the races.

Hidden pleasure

Sometimes if you want to enjoy a bit of peaceful quality time you first have to find the right spot.

They try and quietly enjoy yourself

Before anyone else spots what you are up to.

I don't think anyone spotted me that time.

Box in the Post

This exciting big box has arrived and it smells very nice.

Its a different type of food that Auntie Breezes breeder has recommended to the boss for us to try out.

It looks very interesting and the ingredients written on the pack look good so it should be quite tasty

But I might need a bigger bowl if its all just for me.

A good day out

We were all at Maidstone in Kent today for an indoor flyball tournament. This is me waiting to race.

This is a picture of me on a the back of a team T-shirt (just in case anyone doesn't know who I am!)

My Club was very successful today. Our 1st team won Division 1, Chips team came second in Division 2, Dare's team came second in Division 4 and Auntie Breezes team won Division 6.

But best of all my team won Division 3 with a best time in our division of 18.98 seconds. This is a YouTube video of a couple of my teams races from today.

I think my box turns are getting quite good. I also went sub 4.5 seconds today for the 1st time in a real race.

Waiting

We are all off to a flyball tournament early tomorrow morning with another early start and a very long day ahead.

I find the waiting before we go is really hard.

A bit like this floor.

Windy Weekend

Its been quite blowy windy weather this weekend but just the weather nice for a run in the Park.

But it can be quite annoying running around with a Border Collie like Auntie Breeze as they tend to always want the tennis ball back.

I will just have a lie down to catch my breath for a minute from all this dashing about.

Hang on where has that tennis ball gone now?

I should have guessed who is hiding with it.

Antique fair

The boss has just got back from going to an Antique Fair in Newark today. It was a bit far away so they stayed overnight and we stayed at home. Apparently it was massive and there was loads and loads of things to see.

These old cameras probably wouldn't take pictures that you could put on a blog but they look good.

There was also a lot of expensive silver stuff like this that looks nice but I bet would take a long time to clean.

Fortunately they didn't bring any more dogs home but this one did try to catch their eye.
