Better number

Just noticed that I have an unlucky number of posts for June so this is a picture of Chip enjoying the sun. (but not his lead...)

Very hot week

Its still hot here, well hot for London anyway. Between 80-90f which is very hot for June in England.

This is a picture of a nice paddling pool that we have in the garden at the moment to keep cool.

This is me and Chip trying to figure out how it works.

Sunny Saturday

Another weekend and its watching flyball racing again. This time were are at Frimley Green. Really, really hot again this week.

This is me being a bit of a lap dog at the camp site. We are not camping as well because its not very far away for us.

Middlesex Show pictures

I had a good look around the Middlesex show on Sunday. And the boss said I was very well behaved and did not even try to eat anyone's ice cream.

Mind you I was very tempted by the Strawberries & Cream everyone was eating.

I saw this stand and wondered if Val from her blog Vals Diary knew anyone at the show ?

Sunny Sunday

Its been a really busy time this week so this is the first opportunity the boss has had to put some more pictures on my blog.

I had obedience training as usual and yesterday another flyball tournament for Auntie Breeze and Chip again. This time at the Middlesex County Show. Chips team broke in to 19 seconds (19.90) for the 1st ever time so they seemed very pleased.

These are a couple of pictures of me on the new lawn today.

I was looking for somewhere to hide this tennis ball from Chip in this picture.

Chip's flyball video

The Boss managed to take a sneaky (so he was not put off) YouTube video of Chip flyball racing on Sunday.

He is the last dog...

This was one of the afternoons races so he was actually going more slowly by then !

More Hotshots Flyball

We went to the Flyball Tournament again today this time just me and Chip. It was his second ever tournament.

Chip was racing with a different team of dogs, FourPaws on the Move. It was very hot again today nearly 80f and very sunny!

This is Chip dashing along

This is Chip jumping

Chip enjoyed himself despite the heat ...

Hotshots Flyball

We went to another Flyball tournament today this time it was at Southridge just north of London. It was not far away so it only took 50 mins to get there in the car. Auntie Breeze was running today and Chip runs tomorrow .

These pictures were taken by the bosses new camera (after the accident...) its a cheaper Panasonic (DMC-FS7) but I think it takes quite nice pictures.

This is me in the shade as it was quite sunny and hot today.

And having a nap in the back of the car.

Broken

Unfortunately the Boss left our nice canon ixus camera that was used for taking the pictures on this blog on top of the car when putting me back after obedience training.

After we drove off the Boss wondered what the noise was as it fell off the roof onto the main road and then saw two cars drive over it in the rear view mirror.

Its a bit broken now !

This is Dare seeing if he can fix it for the Boss, probably not ...

Good sniff

I was allowed onto the new lawn for the first time today (without sneaking in).

So I was able to have a really good sniff around.

Flyball Demo

Auntie Breeze and Chip took part in a flyball demonstration today with our Club FourPaws Racing at the Dogs Trust Fete in Uxbridge. As you can see from this picture there was quite a big crowd watching the teams race.

I am to young to do Flyball training yet but hopefully can start in a few months time.

Sherlock Holmes

To put everyone out of their misery the Boss thinks that we sneaked in when the sprinkler was being moved and went up the end of the garden behind the garden shed so we were not noticed straight away. Of course the boss is always right ;-)

As Sherlock Holmes one said ‘Once you eliminate the impossible whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth’

Mind you as BC X Four points out the Boss better keep an eye on the gate catch as well...

Scene of the Crime

Its been a really hot week so far but I think the weather might be on the turn tomorrow which will be a shame.

This is me at the scene of the crime tonight. (see last post)

Me and Chip haven't got back in again this week so its still a mystery to everyone how we got in.

The favorite theories so far are :-

We jumped over or under the fence/gate.
We opened the gate.
We sneaked in behind someone who didn't notice.
The gate was not shut properly and when we got in it clicked shut behind us.

What do you think ;-)

Who done it ?

Bit of a mystery today. We have had a nice new turf lawn laid in the back garden and it has a fence in front of it.

There is sprinkler in it so the grass can be watered and we have to stay off the lawn whilst its bedding in. Today when the boss came round the back me and Chip were found inside on the new lawn dashing up and down, nice and wet , but the gate was still locked.

No one can work out how we got in with the gate shut and my lips are sealed.
