Flyball today at the Shooting Starts tournament in Kent. Auntie Breeze and Chip were racing in different teams (same club) but in the same division. Auntie Breeze's team beat Chips team in the first race but Chips team went on to win the Division so it sort of evened itself out.
This is Chip racing today
And this is Auntie Breeze racing
Oh and Dare was doing training runs with the Clubs 1st team to give him some experience and the 1st team won their division today as well. So it was a successful day all round.

Dog treat
One of my favorite treats is licking out the used cat food pouches that our cat Tabby gets her food in.
With the line of dogs that then builds up. I don't think that I am the only one.
Oh and Congratulations to the England Cricket winning the Ashes. The Boss was listening to it on the radio (internet) and it sounded really exciting.

British Flyball Championships 2009
As you will have seen from my last two posts we went to the 2009 British Flyball Championships over the weekend. There were 32 divisions over three days! With about 5/6 teams in each division that's alot of team racing so there were three rings running at the same time.
Chip was racing in the Grease Lightning Team (Auntie Breeze was also in this team) and they came second in their division!
Dare also had a go running back before the 1st team ran. He enjoyed himself.
The crowds were very big when the 1st Division ran. This picture will give you an idea of how many...

Waiting in line
More pictures from the weekend. We were camping in a massive field with loads of other people and their dogs.
But there was still lots of space to run about.
This is me sitting to command and Auntie Breeze waiting in line.
This is me after having having a dash about.
We had hot weather all weekend, which was nice and loads of wasps which was not.

Me & my Dad
We all went to the British Flyball Championships over the weekend and I had a great surprise. I unexpectedly met my Dad who was racing there with the Crazy Cannons Flyball team. His name is Adam.
This is him getting ready to race.
And this is me with him. People said we look very alike.
I was really surprised as I did not know he was going to be there.

Smartest dog...
There was an article this week in the UK newspapers saying that the smartest breed of dog is the Border Collie. (The cheer of agreement you can hear is Auntie Breeze and Dare)
However I think it depends on how exactly you measure intelligence.
This is Chip and as a Terrier his breed doesn't rate very highly on the newspaper list.
However to think of lying in the shade of clothes on the garden washing line, whilst the rest of us sit in the Sun, I think is a very clever for a dog...

Dare in the Sun
The Sun arrived in style today. This is Dare enjoying the sunshine.
Dare is deaf in one ear which means he can't actually hear which direction noises are coming from unless he is looking at you or he sees the reaction of the rest of the pack. He was very ill when he was a puppy and had to have a long course of antibiotics but he is fine now.
Dare and me also enjoyed a lay on the cool garden lawn as it was quite hot outside.

Out and about
Out and about today. Went for a really nice long walk in the park with Auntie Breeze.
This is us both dashing off into the distance.
Auntie Breeze has a habit of switching into Border Collie sheepdog mode. This her waiting for the (imaginary) sheep to come in her direction.
Can't understand it myself...

Fridge
There is a room in my house that's my favorite and that's the kitchen. One of the best bits of this room is the fridge where lots of exciting food is kept. The food in it seems much better smelling than my own kibble.
Mind you for some reason I don't seem to get much food from the fridge given to me...

Kaiza the Rottie
Another Flyball weekend. We were at the Maple Leaf tournament in Stockbridge. This is a picture of me today with Kaiza who is a Rottie who runs in the same team as Auntie Breeze and Chip.
Dare also had a go today for the first time and did quite well.
But not as good as I will do when I am old enough to compete at flyball!
