Imber Court

Well after all that touring about it was back to the flyball again this weekend. We were at Imber Court which is quite close to where we live so the car journey there was quick for a change.

I raced with my team Lightning Flash. Not only did we get a fastest ever team time of 18.86 seconds but we also got first place in division four.

This is me calmly waiting for one of the races.

And getting a bit more impatient to start (OK a lot more impatient).

But can you see how my ears go up quite nicely when I bark...

Dares team Lightning Bolts where in the same division as my team and they got third place. Auntie Breeze's team Lightning Sprites got fourth place in division six. Chips team Grease Lightning were in Division 2 and got 3rd place with another fastest ever team time of 18.19 seconds.

This is Chip celebrating afterwards under our car with his tennis ball.

That Fly ball looks like fun. I think I want to give it a try after I finish my Therapy Dog training.

I love your blog! I've been looking at the pics for a while because my dog, when his coat is long (which it hardly ever is, given his fondness for burr-bushes), is identical to your pup. It's to the point that no one can tell which one is my dog if I show people pics of both. Uncanny! A twin across the ocean...

We did flyball, too, but my pup got too stressed out by all the barking dogs to continue. He was good at it, though!

I got my dog "second-hand" so I don't know anything about his parentage, but he must have common parentage, some generations back!

Great blog!
