They have been playing Tennis this week at Wimbledon which is not very far from where we live. As is traditional during Wimbledon week we have had both rain and sun.
So the lawn in our back garden is very ready for a good mow now.
But one hazard of trying to be clever with taking photos is you get spotted by inquisitive onlookers.
Loved this post, Chip looks terrific. And there's no fooling him, is there? My grass is getting a bit long but deliberately so. Great for dogs to romp in.
Did you get to see any of the tennis games? We would love to chase the tennis balls!
We are so happy that you like our new kitchen! We are already getting use to eating our meals in there. Well everyone except Lucie. She is not big on change :)
English Shepherds are descended from the dogs settlers took with them to North America to work on their farms from England and lowland Scotland. They were bred to be all round farm and family dogs rather than having just one job to do.
They have been recognized as a distinct breed by the UKC in the USA, since the 1930's.
Wizz is one of the dogs from the first litter to be born in England, she was born on the 3rd of November 2008. Wizz's parents Adam & Eve have been brought to the UK from the US by Jackie to reintroduce the breed to this country.
Check out the 1st web link below to find out more and why.

that chip is a smart fellow! He knows there is no use hanging around if there are no tennis balls involved!

Your grass looks gorgeous! Never mind rain, all we've had is sun - and I'm NOT complaining!
Chip looks like a schnauzer at the moment :) That beard is fantastic.
Chip is quite a handsome fellow!
How fun that you live near Wimbledon. Nice grass!
I'm sure Chip was a bit curious about the photo op! Love the look on his face.
Your dogs are awesome! I haven't met any English Shepherd, but Wizz seems to be really great!
I have two border collies and that's our blog: http://www.fafqlce.ugu.pl/ but unfortunately it's not in English yet ;)
