We all went out again today for another nice walk in the Park and it was a lovely Spring sunny day. The first picture is me and Auntie Breeze.
The second picture is all of us. Dare has the tennis ball which is unusual as Auntie Breeze normally has it. She is quite an expert at getting it before anyone else when its thrown.

Hi Wizz,
Thanks for commenting on my blog. You asked about the long line: Tracking rules in the U.S. for both American Kennel Club (AKC recognized breeds only) and Australian Shepherd Club of America (allows in addition to Aussies and other AKC breeds, non-AKC breeds like the Eng. Shep. and mixed breeds to compete) requires that tracking is done with a tracking harness and 40 foot tracking line. The handler must stay 20 feet from the dog unless doing urban tracking (variable surface tracking - VST), then they can work closer to the dog. The shorter line allowance in VST helps to negotiate the obstacles on an urban track (parked cars, telephone poles, bicycle racks, small children, etc.) The Search and Rescue dogs often work off line in their searches, but we have to stay on a line with our handlers.
Your friend,
Ayla
Ya'll make such a lovely group,just beautiful.
Dare is very clever with that tennis ball.
You make a very nice fur family.
