Another road walk tonight. I went with Dare again and this is a shot of the him using his stare. Dare is a Border Collie and this is something they are quite good at. When working with sheep they use this 'look' to stare down and control the sheep.
Dare sometimes has a go at controlling the cars as they go past with this stare, not sure that this works as well as it does with sheep...
The clouds looked a bit dark again tonight when we were out so maybe we will have some more rain tomorrow.

Hi, Wizz!!!! Thanks for stopping by while I am on my break!!! I do sneak over to catch a glimpse of you every once in a while even though I am not commenting because I'm supposed to be on a blogging break...BTW, I think Dare is very bold, trying to stare down cars!!! ;-) I will be back; it's just a question of when, at this point...and when I return, I'll be by to see YOU!!!! Of that, you can be sure! ~Janine XO
Oh ya we know that stare. I Gus, have that one down pat.. Of course the Red's still need a bit of work on it... They are to busy eating sheep treats..

Why do you and Dar have that strap around your nose? Is it uncomfortable?
Hello there Wizz!
We've always wondered about leash that go round muzzle, is that suppose to make sure u don't bite on walks?
By the way, that's Tubby Jr in the Cone. He had a couple of stitches on his hind leg hence the cone to keep him from nibbling at it. But alas, the cone's now gone and so are his stitches! Needless to say, The Chief is alarmed ...

The strap is part of a special lead that stops us pulling when out for a walk on the lead.
Its called a Gencon, this is a link to the page explaining what it does http://www.gencon-allin1.co.uk/products.html
Its very clever and does not hurt :-)
Wizz :-)
oh dare you are still cute even when you stare.
