200 not out

This is the 200th post on my blog bit of a milestone. Many thanks for all your kind comments on my posts. Me and the Boss have really enjoyed looking at all your blogs as well.

This is me out in the Park today. If you look very closely you can see Chip hiding behind me...



Well its now on to the next 200 !

UFO ?

What do you think this is? A landed UFO on the grass perhaps?



No its a floppy Frisbee and this is a IFW (Identified Flying Wizz) catching it.



Not sure I want to give it back.



Oh alright then, but as long as its thrown again.

Wordless Wednesday

My happy face

I had a bit of a happier expression on my face today.



Its because I got the tennis ball before Auntie Breeze when we had our walk in the Park today.

Flyball training

More flyball training today. This is me going over the jumps with Darren our team captain holding my lead. I have also started to do the jumps on my own as well.




Some little Terriers puppies have also stared to do flyball training. They get mini tennis ball from a training chute to make sure they learn good swimmers turns.

Autumn time

Its been getting a bit dark in the evening now Autumn is here. The clocks go back tonight as well. Its also getting colder which I think is much better.

This is me and Auntie Breeze out in the park waiting for that tennis ball to be thrown.



Not sure why I am pulling this face.



I must have been surprised that Auntie Breeze got the ball first !

Flyball again

Back to Flyball training today.

This is me waiting to start.



And this is me having a go over the jumps on lead.

Autumn

Its suddenly a bit chilly here. I think Autumn may have finally arrived.



This is me and Chip having a go at keeping warm in the garden today in mid chase.

Tongue

Some say that I have a big tongue for a dog.



But I think its quite in proportion with the rest of me.



Unkindly its also been said its big because I don't shut up ;-)

Border Collie drop

Auntie Breeze has this odd habit when we are out. As you can see in this photo she runs out and then drops down to the ground when waiting for the tennis ball to be thrown.



You can see her a bit better in this picture.



Its something Border Collies do instinctively and its not trained into them. Its for when they herd sheep.

Its not something us English Shepherds would do. Plus that grass looks far to damp!

Sunset

Had a long walk today in the Park. It got quite late so the boss took a picture of this nice Sunset.

Indoors out

Just had a nice busy weekend. I am now allowed out as I am only normally attractive again. We went to watch the others do indoor flyball down in Maidstone in Kent.



It was very noisy inside, probably made allot worse with me bouncing up and down joining in with the flyball dogs. The boss tried to explain that they were not all barking at me, didn't really work.

So I was introduced to the 'be quite and you get a treat' technique. And as they say it worked a treat.



Oh and apparently Auntie Breeze's team got a second place, Dares team got a third place and Chips team were very fast. But to be honest I was to busy watching the treats to take much notice of the racing...

Chip is looking for...

I am not sure that Chip has quite worked out that its his reflection that he can see in the bottom of the water bowl in this you tube video.



But as you can see I do understand what a water bowl is for :-)

Is it crocodile? Is it a saber tooth tiger ? Is is a seagull (with teeth), Is it a Snake?

OK who turned the light out?

That teenager look

With the new wooden floors the old vacuum cleaners (we have two for some reason) don't seem to get used as much. I think this is a shame as I do like to herd them when Mum uses them on the carpets.



I tried to explain this to Dare but he just gave me his 'you are a teenager' look.
