Auntie Breeze and Dare were out herding again over the nearby field. No sheep in sight so they had a go at herding something else.
He is black not white like a lot of sheep and was determined not to be herded about the field.
But Auntie Breeze and Dare worked as a brace (pair) So they got Chip under control in the end.
Its funny how they know how to herd as a brace instinctively and with no training. The boss says its years of selective breeding to produce the best sheep herding dogs.
Being Border Collie's Breeze and Dare spend a lot of time herding each other as well as everything and everyone else.
Who has the the tennis ball is the key. A bit like the game called tag. Apparently the boss used to call a game like this British Bulldog when they were at school.
Of course Auntie Breeze found it all quite enjoyable yesterday.
(The boss took these pictures with the new camera on different settings, the colours look very different.)
We were at the famous Wimbledon today. It was a flyball tournament not the tennis one, but they are both held in Wimbledon and both involve tennis balls!
I raced in a different team today Lightning Flash with different dogs from last week Ruby, Merlot and Patsy. But I know them from training so we get on well.
This is me getting ready to warm up
And this is me during the race.
You can also see me and my team mates racing in this You Tube video.
We raced really well and my team got second place in our Division. This is me afterwards with my rosette.
No pictures of last weekends flyball tournament yet but we received some pictures today that were kindly taken at the second starters competition I raced at in April.
I think I was holding on to the tennis ball very tightly.
And as requested by Valerie this is a picture of me with my 2nd place rosette from yesterdays flyball racing.
Well it certainly rained this weekend. It chucked down on Sunday at flyball training and it has been rain showers on and off all over the weekend. Its also been cold and windy as well.
But from these pictures of me out with Chip today you will not believe that the weather has been bad! Its been windy and some sunshine as well between the rain showers.
Mind you without the rain the grass would not be so green!
This is a video of me and Chip today, you can hear the wind if you listen carefully.
