The vet phoned to say the blood sample they sent off did not show anything. So its a bit of a mystery what was wrong with me last week other than it was some sort of gastroenteritis problem.
So we went out today to the Park. Its the first good run I have since my stay in the vets.
Too bad you couldn't get conclusive reports about what was wrong last week. Maybe you just had a flu bug or something Wizz. Gingee wanted me to be sure to tell you that she was thinking good thoughts for your wellness the whole week!
English Shepherds are descended from the dogs settlers took with them to North America to work on their farms from England and lowland Scotland. They were bred to be all round farm and family dogs rather than having just one job to do.
They have been recognized as a distinct breed by the UKC in the USA, since the 1930's.
Wizz is one of the dogs from the first litter to be born in England, she was born on the 3rd of November 2008. Wizz's parents Adam & Eve have been brought to the UK from the US by Jackie to reintroduce the breed to this country.
Check out the 1st web link below to find out more and why.

Yaahoo! So glad you are feeling better and the testing came back negative. I like the cool fall air, I don't get over heated as much.
Glad to hear you are feeling better!
So glad to hear you are better and got to go for a run! :)
That's great that the tests came back negative! It's always weird when dogs get mysterious illnesses. Looks like you guys had fun at the park!

I'm glad you're up and running again. It sucks to have a tummy ache.
I'm glad you're feeling better! You sure look like you feel pretty good, running around in that big field!
Prayers have been answered. Stay well, Wizz.
Nothing like stretching your legs on the open plains, followed by a good long scratch. Do it myself, now and then.
I'm glad to tummy troubles are over. That's no fun.
Thank goodness Wizz!!! It's no fun being sick & Grizwald & Kya were worried about you ... so glad/happy/elated that your running around again!
