Its still really hot here again today so after yesterdays activity I thought I would have a little siesta this afternoon.
After all I need my beauty sleep ;-)

A very sunny Show
We all went to a local Dog show today. It was really hot sunny day and we all had a go in the novelty classes, which are fun categories.
I got 1st place in the Prettiest Bitch and Chip got first place in the Best Crossbreed.
Dare came 5th in the Best Border Collie, the Judge said he was a really nice Blue Merle.
Auntie Breeze came 2nd in the Best Biscuit catcher.
Me and Chip went on to the final for best novelty in show as we had won our classes and Chip came 2nd overall!
Chip is the 2nd (very small!) dog from the left. He won a nice big bag of dog food which I will help him eat later...

Gold Good Citizen
Auntie Breeze passed her Gold Good Citizen award last night. The Kennel Club run a obedience training scheme and this is the highest award you can get, she had already got her Bronze and Silver awards.
This is a picture of her doing the road walk with mum which is part of the test.
And this is her afterwards looking for her treat (faster than a speeding bullet...)

Park House
Another nice long walk in the park today. The weather forecast was for heavy rain but it was dry and warm instead.
We went a different route than normal and saw this old clock tower in the far distance over the trees.
Apparently its Hanworth Park House which may have built on the site of a Royal hunting lodge (Henry VIII's time). It’s currently semi-derelict and awaiting redevelopment. Looks an interesting place.

100 not out
It’s Spring Bank Holiday Monday today and this is the 100th post this year on my blog!
The Boss thought it would be nice to show one of the first pictures of me when I came home at the end of December last year and one just taken to show much I have changed.
This is me then.
And this is me now.
As you can see I am using my serious look in both pictures so some things don’t change after all…

St Ann's Hill
We went for a nice walk on the St Ann's Hill Nature trail in Runnymead. There were loads of interesting smells. Its a really old wood apparently the chapel of St Ann stood on this hill in 1334, and before that it was the site an iron age fort when it was called Eldbury Hill prior to the Roman invasion of Britain in 43AD which sounds quite a while ago.
I dashed about all over the place looking for stuff and things but didn't catch anything.

My first Rosettte
I have just completed the Kennel Club Puppy Foundation Assessment today. This is me with my mum at training where I got my first ever rosette and a certificate.
We also had a go at play agility and as I am only a puppy, so not grown yet, the jumps aren't put up. (I had to wait a bit for the treats... )
I also went through the tunnel which was very dark inside!

All the way from the USA
A parcel arrived in the post today all the way from America and it was this H/R Waterbox from Helsey Ranch that the boss had bought us.
The boss saw it on another Blog and thought it was such a clever idea ordered us one. You fill it up and as its its drunk the water fills up again in the bowl from the box bit.

Wimbledon Flyball
We have been really busy again this weekend. Saturday and Sunday we went to a flyball tournament in Wimbledon which is quite close to us so we did not have to drive far. This is all of us in the car when we got there.
On Saturday Dare took part in a starters competition and his team came third. On Sunday Auntie Breezes team FourPaws Flying ran and they came first in their division and did not lose a race all day which was very good.
Chip was also racing but in his first ever tournament having only done starters races before. He is a very small dog so he jumps with 7 inch jumps making him a height dog. His team FourPaws Running also came first in there division also winning every race. Chip is fast for a small dog he has been timed doing his leg at 4.7 seconds, which sounds really fast to me!
This is Dare feeling a bit tired after all the racing.

Where are the plates?
I came into the kitchen today to see if I could find any spare snacks that the boss had left lying about after tea time.
I then noticed this new machine where the clothes washing machine used to be...
Apparently its called a dishwasher. I would have happily have helped out and licked all the plates clean. But the Boss says that would be unhygienic.
I will still keep an eye out for any stray plates left lying about however ;-(

Auntie Breeze, Dare and Chip did another flyball competition today. It was was over the other side of London at Barleylands Farm, near Billericay in Essex. Whilst there and because it was a hot sunny day Chip had a little dip in a nearby lake.

Chip having a swim (doggy paddle)
Chip running back very pleased with himself and very wet.

Flyball box turns
These are a couple of action pictures of Chip doing swimmers turns on the flyball box at the starters competition over the weekend. Being a little patterdale terrier he can get right up on the box as he grabs/catches the ball.
This picture has caught Chip trying to grab the ball in mid air. I think it makes him look quite fierce!

Flyball today
We went to watch Auntie Breeze race in a flyball competition today and she did really well. Her team FourPaws Flying came second and recorded there fastest ever time as a team.
This is me standing in the big exercise area after having a run about. I was chasing the tennis balls, and the other dogs when given any chance at all...
And this is waiting at the Burger Van. Despite being good I didn't get any burgers which I think was a bit mean ;-)
