Spring flowers

Instead of the usual pictures of me these are of some of the spring flowers in our garden. One or two of the blogs I follow have done this so I thought it would be a nice idea to do it as well. Obviously the flowers are ones that I haven't nibbled yet...

I think this is a bluebell.



I don't know what these flowers are but they are quite colourful.

40 winks

After the exertions of the weekend Auntie Breeze and me were trying to catch 40 winks today on the front room settee.

Well I was but Auntie Breeze being a Border Collie is always on the look out for a tennis ball to wander past...

Old coal mine

Some more pictures from Sunday. This Country Park has been built on the site of an old Coal Mine. You can see the winding wheel that was used when it was working, I think its on top of the old capped off shaft.

Donisthorpe

We went to Donisthorpe today which is on the border of Leicestershire & Derbyshire. Quite a long drive but when we were there I had a nice long walk in the Woodland Park.

This is me having a fast zoom down the hill.



And this is me looking at an odd ladder stile, people can climb over these when there is a fence in the way. Obviously the fence was a bit taller when it was built as now I am able to just hop over it.

Dare

I had a another busy day today, we all went flyball training and I got to watch again. It was funny weather, started of raining but was quite sunny by lunch time.

This is Dare having a lay down after flyball, as you can see he even stares when he is lying down...

Treat

This is a picture of Me, Chip and Auntie Breeze practicing our sits for a treat. I like treats ...

Walk by the Road

We went for another walk tonight which is fairly usual for me but what was not usual is this time I went along with Dare.

Dare likes to stare at the cars (apparently its a bit of Border Collie thing) but he has been quite good and calm recently when he is out and about so I went with him today.

As you can see we both behaved ourselves.

Flowers in the garden

What would spring be without some flowers in a sunny garden?

This is me with Chip in my garden enjoying the sun today. You can see some nice flowers, not sure what sort they are, but they smell nice.



This is Auntie Breeze, on her own, also enjoying some nice rays in the garden.

More Sun

Its another sunny day today so I made the most of it when were were out for a morning walk in the park. Blue sky with a bit of cloud, nice and warm but not hot.



In this picture I think it looks like I am climbing out of the hole (I have a tennis ball in my mouth not tooth ache!)

Sunny spring day

Its a very sunny day today, we all went to weekly flyball training as usual this morning. Everyone said I don't look like a puppy anymore. But that I still act like one...

This me and Chip home in the garden afterwards. We just been interrupted in the middle of some rough and tumble.

Having a sniff about

Today me and Chip went hunting to see what we could find. I started by having a good sniff about. I am quite good at this because apparently English Shepherds do sometimes hunt .

As you can see I found an interesting Rabbit burrow and Chip moved in to investigate it further.

Unfortunately Chip then showed he is a lot better designed for looking down holes than me. So I pretended to be the look out, rather than the look down.

We didn't find anyone home in the burrow today ...

Chilling out

These are a couple of pictures of me chilling out in my room after a busy Easter weekend.



I would normally be outside getting a bit of a sun tan but unfortunately it was not very sunny today...

Chewing (not Easter Eggs)

Apparently we are not allowed to eat chocolate Easter Eggs because they are bad for dogs, so we have to make do with chewing something else.

And this is a picture of Chip having a go at the same dog chew, but hiding under the chair so Dare cannot see him...

Easter flyball day out

We all went to a flyball tournament today in Stockbridge, Hampshire. Chip & Dare went yesterday and I went today with Auntie Breeze. This is a picture of me having a wander about at the tournament.

And this one is Auntie Breeze doing a quick turn off the flyball box during the racing. Her team came third in their division which was quite good.

Playing

This is a picture of me playing with Chip tonight. Chip was a bit bigger than me when I came home as a little puppy in December, as you can see he isn't now.

Black, white & colour

Yesterday a button was accidentally pushed on the camera to produce this odd effect. Its called Colour Accent. Me in Black and White with a colourful background. I think it looks cool.

The lead is a gentle leader called a Gencon which is to stop me pulling, which I sometimes try to do...

I have seen Peter Pan

We have just got back from a flyball demonstration at Kensington Gardens in London. FourPaws were doing the demonstration at the Egg and Bone Charity Event. Breeze and Chip were taking part and as usual I was watching them.

This is a picture of me with the Peter Pan Statue in the Park. The spot was chosen by Peter Pan's author, J.M. Barrie who lived nearby. It appeared on May the 1st in 1912.

The other picture is of us walking in the park before the event. We got there very early so we could park easily.
I met loads of different dogs including a new sort I hadn't seen before called a Rhodesian Ridgeback I barked at him which surprised everyone. (apart from me...)

My Tongue.

We went to flyball training to watch the older dogs training again today. This is me watching the racing quite intently.









This picture is me with Archie in the background who is another puppy and who comes to watch as well and as as you can see I have quite a pink tongue....

Shade

This is me in the garden today with Dare.

As you can see I am enjoying the shade under the tree whilst Dare is having a bit of a stare as usual... Apparently this is a Border Collie thing which he is very good at doing.
