The Ashes

For those Americans who read this blog you may never have heard of the Ashes. Its a cricket series played between England and Australia and the first one started way back in 1882. It happening at the moment in Australia and hopefully England will win the series.

Basically when the Australians won for the first time way back then the newspapers said it was the death of English Cricket, hence the ashes.

On a slightly different note its a bit chillier here than over in sunny Australia at the moment. We might be even getting some snow soon and as you can see the leaves are falling still.

Well you get the idea!

Woo hoo! I do love my cricket!

Don't go chewing on any cricket balls, Wizz. They may be a little too hard for your teeth.

The only cricket I am familiar with are the ones that chirp and have 6 legs. It's always good to learn something new!
