Terrier Obedience

Chip joined one of the training classes at my Obedience Club this week the first one after the Christmas break.

He already has his Bronze Kennel Club Good Citizen Award, which he got a couple of years ago but has not been to any obedience training since then so he has a bit of work to do before he can do his Silver.

Is 'Terrier Obedience' an oxymoron ?

Ha Ha, good one, Wizz. Mom says a lot of peeps think the same about Husky Obedience. We are obedient (when we think it is important:)

Chip looks like he's determined to make sure it's NOT an oxymoron!

Hi, If I'm correct your buddy is a miniature Schnauzer and he should remember quickly, because they are pretty smart. I think obedience, for all of us, is something that needs to be practiced continually.
Have a wonderful weekend.

I do think it is a bit of an oxymoron. However, that bit of spunk is just why I like terriers so much. Chip looks like he is doing quite well.

It won't take him long to get ready for the silver. You're all such talented dogs.

I think terriers are perfectly happy to be obedient... you know, when they feel like it. :)
