Flyball training

We finally went to flyball training today. I watched Breeze, Dare and Chip train with FourPaws Racing Flyball Club in Uxbridge.

I was bit nervous (as you can see in this picture) as there was lots of dogs and they were very excited to be there .

But I soon started meeting the other dogs and enjoying myself.
This is me meeting Trixie who is a Border Collie like Auntie Breeze but much bigger. I think that is Jena in the background.

I then watched all the teams race which was great. You can see me watching Auntie Breeze in this picture, she is the one running back towards me.

Hi Mama,

Apparently Flyball is a relay race with two teams of dogs racing against each other over a course of four jumps to bring back a tennis ball from a sprung flyball box.

Four dogs run in each race with the other two dogs being used as substitutes. Any dog from any breed can compete at Flyball.

The sport was started in the USA but is now worldwide.

Our club is FourPaws Racing and their website is at http://www.fourpawsracing.co.uk/.

Hello Wizz! Nice to meet you. I looked at your puppy pictures, when they were posted at a forum place mum goes to and I also seed you on the news with your mum Eve. I can't believe how big you are already! Good luck with all your fly ball stuff, I'm sure you'll be great at it.

Hi Wizz, this is your sister Annan. What are you doing in Uxbridge?!? NewMum says she used to live very near there - it's about 30 mins drive from our house! Let me know next time you're going and I'll pop down for a play. I have a rough and tumble friend up here but he's no fun - doesn't even squeak when I'm munching his ears! xx
